Whats in a name?!

Hi! So this feels a little strange, having not written a blog post for years, and barely feeling like I have time to write my name to fill in a form some days! But, alas, I've made the decision to write some blog posts on a fairly regular basis. I want to share with you some inside tips and information for how to make clothing, educate on what makes a well fitted garment, let you know when I have new fabrics and cut off dates for garments for a specific event and generally keep in contact with you and let you know what's going on in my busy world. 

This week saw a change for me that has been on my mind for a long time. I updated my name's on Instagram and Facebook, and joined everything all together so that a. everything is a little more cohesive and b. so I'm a little easier for people to find. Everything to do with my sparkly garments (the content of this site) has never really been a name or had a brand. I've not known what it should be, with other companies in this area (that I admire!) having unique, unusual, and sometimes quirky names, and somehow mine has just evolved to be my name. It was making me question if I wanted to give it a new make or if it was going to be easy to re-brand my sparkly clothing to a name now that people are buying it.

I've found when I'm referring to my garments it's either been 'The Lioness and her Unicorns' (my Corsetry) or 'Sparkles'... and while having these references I never truly committed to my sparkly garments being known as Sparkles! But, this week I bit the bullet and decided to just go ahead and do it... so my insta, FB and everything else are now 'Ariane Bingham Sparkles'... and I REALLY like it! It feels like it fits me, the brand, the garments, the people... not to mention the interior of my studio! 

Well. that's it for now, I just wanted to give you a little bit of background as to why my account names changed and ask you to hopefully check in from time to time to see whats going on in my sparkly world, feel free to give me feedback or let me know if there is anything you would like to hear about from me?
