Become friends with your overlocker and build confidence through experience
To prepare you for the sewing workshops, it’s important that you know your way around an overlocker. This is the perfect introductory so that we can make sure everyone is at a similar starting point when the other classes begin
This class is designed to be booked in conjunction with one of the other longer workshops offered, to ensure you have an understanding of the overlocker and are be able to start the projects
It's ideal for you to bring along your own Overlocker from home for this class so that we can set you up for success going forward. If, however, you do not have one you are able to use one of Ariane's. Please note that there is a limited number of machines and you will need to advise this is the case at the time of booking in case they are already scheduled to be used by other students

I was very happy with the overlocker class. I had never used an overlocker before and now I have an understanding of how they work, how to thread them, do's and don't of using a machine, some problem solving hints and I feel fully confident in using a machine moving forward. It was a great class and it is always a pleasure being taught by Ariane, who always makes an effort to go into full detail to answer questions so that you walk away with a complete understanding and knowledge that will stay with you.
It was a very clear class that showed me all I wanted to know to be able to confidently use an Overlocker on my own. And the class was very relaxed which made it a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.
